Hometown: Richmond, Va.
2009: Joshua Karr started 32 games in the field including four on the mound last season for Wingate University as a Freshman. All of his starts as a pitcher came against conference opponents. Offensively Karr led the Bulldogs in walks. Joshua sacrificed his body being hit eight teams last season which was second most on the team. He ended the season with a batting average of .301. Karr was fourth on the team in earned run average, innings pitched and on base percentage. He was fifth in starts. He toed the mound for 38.1 innings last season with a record of 2-1. Joshua Karr is the son of Gary and Deborah Karr.
