Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University head men’s and women’s tennis coach Michael Cabana announces the signings of five student-athletes to study and play tennis at Wingate University. The five student-athletes will join the Bulldogs for the 2011 season.

Rock Hill, S.C.----The Tusculum College women’s tennis team did not lose a set in three singles victories Saturday, completing a 5-1 victory over Wingate University in the semi-finals of the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference tournament at the Rock Hill Tennis Center.

Rock Hill, S.C.----The Wingate University women’s tennis team picked up three singles victories and two doubles triumphs to take a 5-1 win over Catawba College Thursday morning in the first round of the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference tournament at the Rock Hill Tennis Center. Bulldog senior Hollyn Alberghini (Stanfield, N.C.) won the clinching match, defeating Catawba freshman Maggie McKee (Mt. Airy, N.C.) 6-2, 6-4 at the number five singles flight.
