Stacie Rhodes (Knightdale, N.C.) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III women’s basketball first team (college division), selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Rhodes is a repeat performer; she was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III first team in 2009.

Kurie Washington (Marion, N.C.) had 20 points and seven rebounds as the Wingate University Bulldogs knocked off the Catawba College Indians 75-59 in South Atlantic Conference women’s basketball action Wednesday night in Cuddy Arena. The Bulldogs improve to 12-9 overall and 5-5 in the SAC. Catawba falls to 13-7 on the year and 6-3 in the SAC.

Harrogate, Tenn.----The Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitters defeated Wingate University 66-55 in South Atlantic Conference women’s basketball action Monday afternoon. LMU improves to 7-12 overall and 4-5 in the SAC. Wingate falls to 11-9 on the year and 4-5 in the conference.
